The Simpsons as anime Characters and others!

The latest installment of The Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horror” puts the Simpsons family in an assortment of costumes. In the clip you see Maggie as Pokemon’s Pikachu, Lisa, dressed as Mikasa from Attack on Titan, Bart as Naruto from the Naruto series, Homer as Zoro from One Piece, and Marge as Rangiku from Bleach. Still don’t know what Santa’s little helpers dragon character was from. Afterward there are references to Adventure Time, Archer, South Park, and more. The family also meets their Tracey Ullman Show counterparts. But this isn’t the first time that The Simpsons has made tribute to anime. They had a small dedication to Hayao Miyazaki clip too. And also the took a stab at Ultraman, Jun from Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman or G-force ASTRO BOY and Sailor Moon as well. I truly think that all these derive from the love the writers have for anime and how it reaches out to everyone. The clips are down below.

NARUTO: The USA’s Greatest selling manga is about to end!

You heard me right, after 15 years of ninja greatness the story of the orange shinobi will conclude. If you been living under a rock for the past decade Naruto is the story of a young boy named “Naruto” dreams of being Hokage (the village leader and strongest ninja. It show his growth from neighborhood pranksters to a well respected ninja. But there is something special about him or should I say ‘In him”. He holds the nine tails fox demon in him! This reason alone makes him a outcast as a child but as he gets older its his main source of power. Naruto is written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It debuted in Japan in 1999 and made its USA appearance early in 2003 via Viz Media’s Shonen Jump magazine. As of 2012 Naruto became the #1 selling manga in America. Many fans as well as myself are saddened about this news but we knew it was coming because Kishimoto told us 2 years ago that it was going to hit its climax soon. If you want to start reading the Naruto heres a link to get you started you wont regret it. “BELIEVE IT!”
